Avanza el proceso que definirá el Primer Cierre Ambiental Anticipado del país
In 2024, Grupo Prodeco successfully concluded its educational strategy through three lines of academic support: University scholarships, Excellence scholarships, and Living Expenses scholarships. In its final year of implementation, eight young people, prioritized for their rural origin, resettled community background, or conditions of vulnerability, benefited from the program: seven received living expenses scholarships and one was awarded a University Scholarship (registration fee and living expenses scholarship) .
“Thanks to Grupo Prodeco’s support, I was able to study at the National University, an opportunity that changed my life. This scholarship not only allowed me to pursue my professional education, it also inspired me to dream big and think about how to contribute to my community. Today, as I am about to graduate, I can only express my gratitude for having believed in me.” Gianella Vanegas, Beneficiary from the municipality of Becerril, Cesar.
In 2025 the last students supported by the Excellence Scholarship Program, developed in partnership with Universidad del Norte, are expected to graduate, closing a process that fostered the talent of young people with outstanding academic performance.
For more than a decade, Prodeco’s University Scholarship Program has invested in the professional training of over 50 young people from its areas of influence, convinced that education is one of the most powerful tools to transform lives and territories. These students not only gain access to academic opportunities but also build life projects that prepare them to become promoters of new opportunities for their families and communities.
