Little reporters of the Prodeco Group bring peace through short films

06|10|2016

This Thursday from 6:00 p.m. at Plaza de Centenario, the four short films made by students from four public schools in Cienaga will be played. These schools are part of the Prodeco Group’s Reporters Network. Admission to the event is completely free.

The educational institutions involved are Carlos García Mayorca, Alfredo Correa de Andreis, El Carmen and Alianza para el Progreso. All of them have worked since 2015 in this audiovisual project supported by the Prodeco Group, a company that is betting on educating the youth in the values of peace through audiovisual lessons.

The short films, made by students with the support of the Prodeco Group, address peace, reconciliation, respect and tolerance as main themes. These themes were chosen by the students, and acted and filmed by them. The projection of these videos is part of the second cycle of activities held by the little reporters group throughout the year. The first one, in June, had as main theme the rescue of the town’s historical memory.

The Prodeco Group’s Reporters Network is a communications group supported by the Municipality of Ciénaga and other entities related to the Ministry of Culture. The videos will be played from 6:00 p.m., free admission.
