Grupo Prodeco dona $654 millones para biblioteca de la Universidad Nacional en el Cesar

Grupo Prodeco gave $ 654 million pesos to the National University of Colombia as a donation for the library furniture of this institution of higher education in the municipality of La Paz, Cesar; joining the celebration of the 50 years of the department.

The official act in which the donation was made took place in the location where the library will operate, and was attended by Mark McManus, president of Grupo Prodeco; Francisco Ovalle, governor of Cesar; and Fanny Solano, representative of the National University, among other special guests.

With the donation, Grupo Prodeco supports the preparation of the University's activities and confirms its commitment to invest in programs that favor the development of local capacities in the Department of Cesar. In that sense, the National University of Colombia is an important actor that contributes to the development of the region, since we are convinced that education is the path for development.

Thanks to this donation, the library will be able to acquire furniture for its reading area, including tables, desks, bibliographic reference areas and shelves.
